A spatial hypothesis for an immense, uncounted gathering: distant arrivals, turbulent local concentrations and a gradual descent into a dispersed night roost.

The range is exploratory, not a census. The prototype distributes the visible flock across 50 smaller and 5 larger tree groups containing approximately 220–300 trees.
